So we're the Contigo family but they don't sell flip top glasses with straws and I was dying to use one for hot coffee (glass on top) or cold drinks (Straw). We haven't found any other brand that can keep our drinks hot/cold as long as Contigo! This cup takes second place. Our Contigo still excels at durability and anti-spill technology, but for everyday use this is my new go-to mug. I poured ice water into my cup at 8pm and the next day at 12pm it was still cold! 16 hours. The ice had already melted, but it was still just as cold. Our Contigo would still have ice in the cup after 16 hours. We managed to get cold water in our Contigo for 24 hours and we live in Florida. But honestly, who doesn't finish their drink after 4 p.m.? Actually, we don't need to drink that long. We'll still be fans of the Contigo for its waterproof design when we're outside, but for the office or everyday use, this is the way to go! Very easy to clean. The tops of the Contigo are a bit difficult to clean.
