Your original key must have the HAA stamp on the key shank.
The product is great and works as advertised but note VW will need to program this new key. It was the correct model for my car (HAA) so make sure it's on the old key before getting that one. Aside from understanding that you need to get an HAA (or whatever your car needs) and set it up on your car, it does what it's supposed to!
