Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

Definitely worth buying. Even now, with PS4 on the horizon. Since a lot of great games have already been released for ps3 and a number of obviously great exclusives will be released this year: The last Of Us, Beyond Two Souls, Metal Gear Solid 5. Well, GTA 5, even though it is a multiplatform. And on PS4 for at least another year there will not be a normal number of good games that would justify buying a console right away.

Pros

Japanese quality (although, of course, it was assembled in China); quiet; solid and stylish appearance (matte surface is a great find); many beautiful exclusives, and some are so unique that you will not find analogues on any platform (Heavy Rain, Journey). The ability to buy ps2 hits in the PlayStation Store. Free game over the network, unlike xbox 360. A dubious but still advantage is the ability to play blu ray movies (few people use it, movies on such discs are still too expensive) A convenient gamepad with very sensitive buttons and sticks, as well as a built-in battery.

Cons

I play up close on a 27" monitor. Maybe for this reason, some games look "blurry" and with a lot of "ladders" The benefit of exclusives and many of the latest hits (Tomb Raider) is not affected. Well, like most CIS players, I think the prices for games are too high. I just want to flash the console and launch pirates, but for now I'm holding on.
