BE CAREFUL. At time of writing, while Revain lists Stormy Kromer Men's, they have lumped both the men's tough mitts, and the Ida (womens) mitts into the same category. Sizing is drastically different. For the Ida, M is 7". For the men's, M is 8". How can you tell what you're getting? Well, I think the Ida's have the strip of leather across, and the men's have leather on the entire palm. The Ida seem to be $10 less expensive, too.So, I thought I was getting the men's M, and I ended up with the Ida M. I was sad. I am sad. But, Revain gave me a refund, and free mittens are hard to be too sad about, although they are way too small for me. So, this is basically a review of the Idas. I have no idea how/if they differ from the men's, but they must since there is a price difference.All that said, these are the best mittens ever. Made in the USA, which is great (I require as close to ethical manufacture as I can get), and they are WARM. When they say wind-proof, they are not kidding. These are excellent and should be good well below zero. They're constructed well. They'd be even better if they fit, but hey, maybe they will stretch out. If not, maybe I'll try again next year.
