Review on 🎤 Gator Frameworks GFW-MIC-0821: Short Weighted Base Microphone Stand with Soft Grip Twist Clutch, Boom Arm, and Versatile Mounts by Heather Smith

Well, first let me say it looks solid and works great for what my group is using it for. The problem is that we use it for other purposes! We bought it as a kick mic stand. The problem is that you can't install a Shure Beta 52A microphone on it. (I'm assuming you can, but you're not). I don't have it with me right now, but basically there's a washer preventing me from screwing this (very popular) kick mic onto it. Again, I'm sure there's probably an easy workaround. But the microphone doesn't fit right out of the box. We now record other drums with it, and it works great with the SM57/58 (or similar). I also accidentally dropped it. from the back of my SUV the other day. I was more worried about the concrete than the stand. The basis of this thing is strong!
