The amazing thing is that it works as both a charger and a portable battery. I use it with both Nimh and Li-Ion. So far it's working fine and I'll update it if it doesn't help me. Edit: I had some trouble charging my phone with a 3.3V LiFe battery. I tested it with my DMM and it output 4.5 volts from the USB port for 10-20 seconds and then dropped to 2.8v (which stopped my phone from charging) and then back to 4.5. That doesn't happen with my lithium-ion.
