I bought one of these G. Liane files earlier this year. While nearly $10 for a single nail file might seem like a luxury and luxury, it was worth it. And it worked very well for several months until it sat down and broke. I liked how it cuts so precisely and efficiently, which is very different from regular Emory boards. After losing that file I ordered a different brand glass nail file that was cheaper, one of 4 offerings for $10 and the difference was obvious. The cheaper files were definitely lower quality. The grit was rougher and wore out after some use, the files were thicker and just didn't work. They were on par with those cheap Emory boards. When I lost and/or broke a few of them and knew I would need a new glass nail file, I learned from my mistake and went back to buy another G. Liane file. I'm so glad because a good quality nail file goes a long way. If I need a new file I will continue to use this brand.
