Like many people lately I am doing my own manicure and have to shorten it due to quarantine and hygiene. (Really - keep your nails short during Covid!) I really like this nail file. Not all crystal nail files are created equal. Some are very thin and will break with use at the slightest pressure (consider filing a thicker thumbnail or toenail). This G. Liane file is thick enough to be used on thicker nails without fear of breaking. I've dropped it on the hard kitchen floor once or twice and it has no cracks, cracks or breaks. The case is also durable and is great for keeping a file in a drawer with other items.

Very nice nail file. I liked its aesthetics both inside and out. But when I used it and it might have been user error, it didn't work for me. I used it after I got my nails done hoping it would help my nails compared to a regular nail file but for some reason my nails were MUCH weaker than usual after I got my nails done.
