DO NOT DO THAT! seconds? fake? poor quality

Well I can't say I wasn't warned. tons of reviews of "fake" Tweezerman tweezers. I've noticed that most of the bad reviews were for Tweezerman brand tweezers, which are half or less than half the retail price. This particular set of 40 had pretty good reviews and was sold at regular retail so I ordered these. I've been using this brand/style for 10 years and have owned 3 pairs in that time. use them daily. Right out of the box the tension was weak, not even as strong as the 4 year old pair they were meant to replace. couldn't pull my hair. The ends were not sharp. I have compared this pair to my elders. This pair was slightly different from all three of my others (all purchased from a reputable national chain): the tips were slightly shorter, the filing pattern was different, and on closer inspection the lettering wasn't clear. I bought a new pair from the same chain as me and it was like night and day. The pair I bought locally had plenty of tension and the tips were very sharp. no problem with brows. So bottom line - don't buy it from amazon. I'm saying THAT for the FIRST TIME!

Pros
  • Locate unwanted hairs, grasp them with the tweezers tips at a 25 degree angle and squeeze the tweezers body while pulling in the direction of hair growth. This removes the hair at the root. Continue until all unwanted hair is removed.
