Review on 📱 Rugged Ridge Dash Multi-Mount Phone Kit - Fits 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler JK by Alex Taylor

I've read reviews of people who couldn't keep their clips in place and I had the same problem. As you notice in my photo, the original tray's clip is lower than the Rugged Ridge tray's clip. The clips on the Rugged Ridge tray didn't go deep enough into the holes to stay securely in place and the tray immediately popped out. I ended up having to remove the clips and slide them down the plastic so they fit properly and hold the tray in place. I was able to remove the clips fairly easily with a pair of pliers and move them about 1/4" and now the tray is securely in place. It was a headache, but doable. It looks like Rugged Ridge takes their design change little and either use identical clips or move their current clips down a bit, this problem wouldn't exist.
