Season before first use!
Pre-season like a cast-iron skillet. Unlike cast iron pans, it is not pre-seasoned and will rust after a day/night. The seller says nothing about lightly oiling the pan and baking in the oven at 350 feet for an hour. It would be nice to know this information. So I'm giving it a 2 for lack of extremely valuable information. The quality of the product is undecided and I'll have to see how it holds up. It is extremely difficult to get rid of the first rust inside the pot so the lifespan of my purchase is now undermined.
