The ice breaker is a great tool but I recommend using it with a pickaxe especially for those who have it are on the smaller side. After a snowstorm followed by days of frost, large blocks of ice and sheets of ice formed on my backyard's concrete patio. I couldn't try hard enough to break the ice with just the Ice Crusher. So I pulled out my trusty pickaxe and swung it across the ice and was able to generate a heck of a lot more potential energy with the swing motion and the heavier pickaxe. Then I could scrape off the ice and use the Ice Chopper to break it up even more.
