I didn't know what "removable core" meant but ordered it anyway. What I found out is that the Presta valve actually comes out of the stem. I don't know why you need this, but I use a Schroeder adapter to inflate ties with an electric pump. When I tried to unscrew it, he pulled out the valve and the tire burst. Tightened and tried again and everything was fine. Two fat $20 bike chambers, held air for a couple of rides and a couple of days, I have no complaints. I will probably order a second set as a spare.
