Bought for my boyfriend and I before we went to school. They fit both of our wrists perfectly and don't look too feminine for him. We both wore them every day for several weeks and had no problems with them breaking. The black color that fills in the compass pattern is fading a bit, but that doesn't bother me. I would recommend that you don't get them wet to better preserve the chord.
