disclaimer: i'm a stranger, please forgive my english :-) funny little lens for the NEX camera system. I use it on a Nex-6 and it's hard to use, very hard to get clear shots but still possible. This is an SLR lens so the contrast is lower, but for this type of lens it's good (yes, how should I know, I'm not a professional photographer). It's f6.3, so you need fast exposure light and you need to use a higher ISO to get the speed you need (1/500+). So don't expect a stellar IQ (think how much you paid for a 450mm focal length). APS-C sensor). I only took a few shots out the window with a monopod, but I want to share 2 shots and 1 crop each to give you an idea of the sharpness and motion blur. I enjoy shooting with the nex-6, it has good handheld focusing capabilities so finding a focus point is not difficult at all, but not that easy either. Don't expect to use this lens often (I just don't have time to spend hours looking for a few good shots). If you're investing your hard-earned money I wouldn't recommend this lens, but I can't even recommend another lens in this focal range as there isn't one. can be a difficult decision
