Great value for money, rely on Tripod

So light. It's so cheap. It's such an interesting technology. With such a long telephoto lens, expect to need something to steady yourself. I just got the XF 100-400 and it's a beast, a beautiful beast, but too heavy and big for me to take with me on my next trip. That cute little lens, on the other hand, will be with me. With Fuji, focus peaking is pretty easy. Notice the bokeh - I like it, but clear.

Great price decent lens

Price wise I don't think you will find anything better than this lens (probably 5 stars for what I paid). I hooked it up to my X-A3 and tried it out in my garden just to see how it fared this afternoon. Attached photos did not pass photo editor. I shot handheld at 1/650 with the focus function. I agree that it has very shallow depth of field, but pretty reasonable sharpness given the size/price of the lens. I think you might get better results with a tripod, and moving subjects can be tricky…

very very short review

disclaimer: i'm a stranger, please forgive my english :-) funny little lens for the NEX camera system. I use it on a Nex-6 and it's hard to use, very hard to get clear shots but still possible. This is an SLR lens so the contrast is lower, but for this type of lens it's good (yes, how should I know, I'm not a professional photographer). It's f6.3, so you need fast exposure light and you need to use a higher ISO to get the speed you need (1/500+). So don't expect a stellar IQ (think how much you

Seems good for astrophotography

I bought this lens for astrophotography and I think it works fine. I needed a high magnification lens for my 4/3 micro camera (Olympus E-PL5) which I put on a polar telescope. On the first night I took and stacked 11 two-minute exposures of the small star cloud in Sagittarius, M24. The stars had some distortion in the corners and some vignetting in the middle. But the angular distortion was barely noticeable and I corrected the vignetting with flat frames. I don't have much experience in…
