My original Moen became difficult to turn so I bought it as a replacement. On the original Moen, the flow shut off when the knob was at 6 o'clock. Then turn it counterclockwise and it will start dispensing cold water. As it continues to spin counter-clockwise, the water gets hotter and hotter until 9 o'clock, where it stops at its maximum temperature. This started out like this, but around 10:30 the current slowed considerably and became cooler. Not cold, but not as hot as 10:30. I wrote the seller a message and asked what to do. That was a week ago and still no reply. In the meantime, I've been browsing the internet and found a YouTube video that describes how to disassemble a 1222. I got an old Moen, disassembled it and replaced the o-rings. I smeared it with silicone grease, assembled it, it works like new and doesn't slow down like this one. So, a little time and $2.59 for 10 o-rings (7 left) and I'm good to go.
