Needs a little more spring tension
I installed this on a smaller welder than it was rated for, hoping to get a heavier spring in the jaw. The device appears to be well built, but the 90 degree rod holder is at the very top of the jaws and has the least holding power. When I first inserted the rod and did my usual twist and pull, the rod snapped. I ended up taking it apart and installing a second spring in the first, which seems to have fixed the problem.
