A big improvement over the stock headlights on my Vintage 4x4

I installed them on a 1977 International Scout. I had to slightly modify the base of the OEM can that holds the sealed supports in place to accommodate these large and bulky headlights. Nothing a few minutes of jigsaw and dremel can't do. Otherwise they fit well and don't interfere with full aim setting. I bet they could assemble GM, Ford and other American cars of that time with similar reasons. They use half the energy of traditional sealed incandescent bulbs. Big difference! DRLs are the main reason I bought them. They are very bright (almost too bright?). I will not use the amber turn signal feature. The pigtails for these two connections seem pretty nifty. Overall, the headlights make a very well-made impression. Feel the quality. The time will show. They come in a very nice padded box with items covered in high density foam. Good marketing or a good indication of a certain level of quality? I don't know, but I took it as best I could. They are made in China. In my case the removable vent covers are useless as the back of these blocks just can't be accessed (in my 4x4) without being removed. I'm concerned about splinter damage. If one of them fails or is damaged I will have to buy another set of 2. Will these things even exist then? Don't go to an auto parts store to get a replacement :-( I'll check out the wire mesh headlight guard that used to be popular. Warranty? Not clear at all how to file or make a claim. FYI. In others Reviews noted good support from vendor Please note I emailed Torchbeam for some information and was impressed with the very quick response.
