These things are pretty cool. Pun!

So I like that they are made in the USA. I try my best to buy things that are available and it's usually worth it. I moved to Annunciation a bit ago and there are a couple of stores that I like to shop that are within driving distance, so I use my cooler to shop every few weeks. I wanted more/better cold compresses since I use them all the time now. It sounded cute because they can stay colder and actually keep food frozen, so I decided to give them a try. these are solid! I kind of used that to my advantage as I don't necessarily want things to go to ice in my chest all the time. BUT when I do, I throw them in my big GE fridge and of course they get rock hard and then ACTUALLY freeze everything they come in contact with. Pretty nice as most of these products don't actually freeze things, just very cold. They also don't warp or buckle like some of the others I have, which is nice. In short, they're just better designed. I think some of the reviewers who are quick to mention this "thaw" don't understand what's going on. These things will not freeze to a lower temperature than many similar products. Conversely, they also become liquid at lower temperatures. However, they are still as cold as other strong packs. But ultimately they can keep more "cold" if you want and keep things properly frozen due to their properties. Mine melted and the fridge is still cold as hell. I'll probably buy a few more of these if I need them in the future as I'm pretty happy with their performance.
