Solid value. - my new review
We use this hatchet to trim tree roots while transplanting. It does what it is supposed to do. I gave it 3 stars for light weight, because you want the head to be HEAVY, especially for my use. I simply raise the axe and let it fall, allowing gravity and the sharpness of the blade do the job.
- Very nice for the money
- The small size may make it difficult to generate enough force for effective chopping
