I initially liked the idea of adding a shelf to the dryer but when I pulled it out of the box it felt flimsy and I was concerned it wouldn't support anything has dried up, and even more nicknames. I've never used it, but I was also concerned that the wood would mold over time with repeated use, so I went back and found an aluminum that doesn't rust and is much sturdier.
