Review on πŸ–₯️ Samsung LS22A330NHNXZA 22-Inch Flicker-Free Monitor with HDMI for Computers, 1920x1080P, 60Hz by Everson Schiller

Not a bad business monitor, but by no means the best (see details)

I've always liked Samsung monitors and TVs. On the other hand, I've never fallen as far down the product range as the Samsung Business S33A Series 22 inch (S22A330NHN, black). Somewhere for a dime. Let's start with the good: The S33A has a pretty good color balance While I prefer IPS panels, the overall contrast of the VA panel is quite good Viewing angles are better than I expected from this type of panel The backlighting is pretty even with no weird ones Leaks The back of the monitor is flat which makes the VESA mounting points more useful And that's the bad A: The OSD is what you'd expect from a Tier 3 manufacturer back in 2007 a CONVENTIONAL C13 POWER CORD No, you get one instead Power supply with barrel connector conditions covers everything to a certain extent. I understand if REALLY thin monitors lack internal power supply. but that's not the case with this chunky Samsung. And here's the rest: Full 1080p resolution is really the hallmark of this monitor. At the bottom of the product stack, you'll occasionally see some odd resolutions (like 900p) that are significantly inferior in terms of performance. But other than that, you get a pretty average monitor. It's not particularly bright and is locked at 60Hz. Of course this is fine for light commercial use, but I think the main draw is that you can get a palette of these relatively cheaply. With HDMI and VGA, you can safely connect this to most devices, although you'll lack USB-C and DP. If anyone were to ask I would say the S33A is a decent monitor for someone else but I would never want to use it for my PRIMARY display.
