It does not work. The connection to an existing motherboard is too big!
After doing A LOT of work to remove the original screen, I was incredibly disappointed to find that the motherboard insert of the replacement screen WILL NOT FIT. What a HUGE waste of time! Unfortunately I couldn't find my iPad initially so I missed the replacement/refund window. So my only advice would be for a buyer to beware of untested 3rd party parts and test them ASAP so that you return/replace them if they don't work.
