Excellent fan. Absolutely silent. Extremely adjustable for light and fan speed. Vice versa for the winter. Our technician installed it in about an hour. He said the instructions aren't very good, but I don't think he's a big reader to begin with. Today is the first really hot day and this fan makes a huge improvement. I want to add it to all rooms. I would say it feels 10 degrees cooler. The only caveat/con I would say is that there can be a 15-30 second delay when you press the controls on the remote. It's okay if you know. Update: I didn't read the instructions for the remote control and damaged it trying to fix the problem. Read the instructions! but you can buy a new remote control for $40.
