Review on ☕ Melitta Filter Coffee Maker: Single Cup Pour-Over Brewer, Black - Convenient and Easy to Use (1 Count) by Cecilia Love

As far as I know, the search for the best way to have a cup of coffee is over!

I love good, hot coffee (mostly decaffeinated) - and was looking for an alternative to Keurig. While I will still use Keurig, especially when I need a quick, no-fuss cup of coffee, I just enjoy my coffee too much and Keurig is getting expensive over time. In addition, I'm among a growing number of people educating themselves about the environmental impact of K-Cups. I've tried reusable/refillable K-Cup devices but the coffee just didn't taste that great and installation/cleaning was a hassle/messy. I tried a French press but I didn't like it either 1) the coffee was never hot enough for me because of the wait time 2) I don't like the bit of coffee grounds that sometimes gets in the cup 3) I haven't I don't want to try to get the set out of this little filter press while cleaning. 4) Coffee has always tasted more acidic to me when using a French press. I use the method outlined in some of the reviews here: microwave water, add coffee, stir. and then pour through the Melitta filter and cone into my coffee cup. Faster than a French Press so the coffee stays hotter. The paper filter reduces acidity and eliminates the dregs in a cup of coffee. The end result: a delicious, hot cup of coffee. Easy cleaning, just toss the filter/thickness in the trash. OR, if you are using organic filters, you can simply compost the filter/soil. Then a quick wash/rinse of the cone and whatever you have heated the water. Other advantages: Doesn't take up much space in the closet. Inexpensive. You can even use it when traveling as there is access to hot water. .
