UPDATE ON THE ORIGINAL REVIEW 9/12/21: Yesterday I managed to slide this clock straight off the wall onto the wooden floor, breaking the glass and knocking a chunk out of the rim where it landed. I wiped it out and ordered a new one. The clock is now back on the wall and still shows the exact time, just without the glass. That's it. Original review below: My quartz clock in the living room makes a soft ticking noise that I actually find relaxing. I bought this for another room because I liked its colorful fun, not because it was a "silent sweeper". It's completely silent. Turquoise fits perfectly with the color scheme of the room, not too light or too dark - looks just like the picture. That's what it's all about so far. I've only had it a few days and will update if that changes. So far everything is perfect. I like the larger numbers on it, easy to see from a distance without being thick and bold. I was really impressed with how this watch is presented for handling and shipping. It attaches to the inside of the box with two screws that go through the flat plastic washers on the back of the box. These dials can be rotated for easy watch removal - no tools required. There is a layer of foam protecting the dial and a full square of packaging foam for added protection. This watch does not move in its box in any way. It will then be shipped in a Revain box with airbags. I have bought two other watches in the last two years and none have been as protected as this one. I would order more watches from this selection at any time.
