Used two of these to replace fans in my Netgear GS724TPv2 switch. I can barely hear them from 6 feet away. At an ambient temperature of 73°F, sitting on an open shelf, I get 88°F at the fan outlet, 85°F at the case above the power supply, and 83°F at the case above the connectors. The fans show that they are running at a 39% duty cycle, which was around 6V for the fans when I tested them. The head should have enough space. I have 2 POE access points and 10 ports going through a switch. Mostly a few computers and televisions. It is to be hoped that their durability will be good. I think these will work fine.
