I recommend this - Case Fan

There is a trade-off between airflow and noise. Unfortunately, for fans of this size, you just can't have both. You can tell if the fan will be strong or quiet, but by rating the amp. My previous one was at 0.4A, relatively strong and noisy. But this one is at 0.16A, with less flow but much quieter. It is significantly quieter than the previous fan (in the power supply). And luckily I didn't need a stronger fan. You can still hear that new fan. I can best describe the volume as the low hum ofโ€ฆ

Mounting holes are fun.

The fan is quiet and provides enough air to cool my project. The only criticism I have is that the screw holes are set back almost an eighth of an inch for some reason. If you use standard fan screws and mount slightly larger than mm. Fat, you're going to get in trouble. I installed it on a 0.2" thick aluminum plate and had to countersink the holes in it about 1/8" to allow the threads to engage the fan.

Quiet but low air volume

Netgear GS724TPS fans are completely silent when installed. At the moment I'm only using one POE+ device, but I can connect another one to free up the socket. I have 18 gigabit cables, only 7 of which are in constant use, so the load isn't that great. The device stays at around 35C at the top of the case just above the motherboard, and the temperature of the air exiting the vents ranges from 35C to 38C on a laser thermometer. I had to solder the wires as the connector is not compatible so I cut

Good switch fan replacement

Used two of these to replace fans in my Netgear GS724TPv2 switch. I can barely hear them from 6 feet away. At an ambient temperature of 73ยฐF, sitting on an open shelf, I get 88ยฐF at the fan outlet, 85ยฐF at the case above the power supply, and 83ยฐF at the case above the connectors. The fans show that they are running at a 39% duty cycle, which was around 6V for the fans when I tested them. The head should have enough space. I have 2 POE access points and 10 ports going through a switch. Mostly a
