The fan is quiet and provides enough air to cool my project. The only criticism I have is that the screw holes are set back almost an eighth of an inch for some reason. If you use standard fan screws and mount slightly larger than mm. Fat, you're going to get in trouble. I installed it on a 0.2" thick aluminum plate and had to countersink the holes in it about 1/8" to allow the threads to engage the fan.

Used two of these to replace fans in my Netgear GS724TPv2 switch. I can barely hear them from 6 feet away. At an ambient temperature of 73°F, sitting on an open shelf, I get 88°F at the fan outlet, 85°F at the case above the power supply, and 83°F at the case above the connectors. The fans show that they are running at a 39% duty cycle, which was around 6V for the fans when I tested them. The head should have enough space.
