This is the first time I've used serrated scissors so it's probably my fault but I don't like it when they cut big chunks. I'm left-handed, that could also be a problem. Sometimes it seems that it sticks to the fabric a bit on long cuts. I also tend to stick very sharp ends in whatever surface I use for cutting. I bought another brand of scissors for cutting large pieces which was a disappointment as I was hoping they would be good for everything. However, they are excellent for application. It even penetrates into hard-to-reach places, such as the apex of the heart. There is also a protective cover for the blades. I love it for 2 reasons. 1. The points are REALLY sharp. 2. It is obvious to everyone that these are my sewing scissors and NO ONE will take them for the household!
