I received the plates at a great price and the delivery was early. I installed them yesterday and they took 2.5-3 hours to sit on the floor in my driveway. I raised the front of the truck by hoisting it onto wooden boards about 4 inches high. Removing the choke was easy to start the project. First the driver's side was fitted, then the passenger's side, which required (very) little sanding at the connection point to the bumper beam. Drilling out existing holes on the case (17/32 inch) as needed can be a bit tiring on your wrist, but it's done slowly and easily. You'll need a decent set of clamps or a long-reach vise to hold the panels properly to the chassis. Drilling the rest of the holes wasn't too bad since I had a nice sharp 17/32" bit. Don't use anything bigger or smaller. The instructions call for drilling a 1 1/4" hole in two places to to use the nuts. for 4 bolts. If you bend the wire supporting the 4 nuts properly and thread them through the hole, you won't have too much trouble attaching them to the bolt. Be sure to use Lock-Tite as needed. After I finished drilling and screwing and before installing the plugs for the 1 1/4" holes I primed everything with Rustoleum Rust Resolver and after it dried I painted the whole thing with Rustoleum Undercoat to protect it. A Advice: Do not try to drill 17/32" holes in the chassis directly with this drill bit. Insert it into the hole in the panel and drill a bit, then you will have a nice center point, finish this center point with a 1/4" or 5/16" bit. Put the 17/32" bit back into the bit and finish the holes. When you drill with a bit that big, it can break your wrist a bit snag and twist if you're not careful The truck comes with factory tow hooks to remove and nothing on my truck needed to be cut in. The only comment I would make is that the coloring of the numbers could have been better in some places, but I got my problems done with good old Rustoleum.
