I am a 69 year old obese disabled woman living with pulmonary arterial hypertension with connective tissue disease, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, bilateral cataracts, urinary incontinence and a worsening of my tailbone. I bought an adjustable queen bed with a 14 inch mattress. I wasn't sure if this would work with my bed as I can put it in different positions ie. I wondered if my legs would stay steady on the floor if I raised the bed. No matter what position I put the bed in, the rails don't move or shift. It doesn't come off when I pull up. It's well made, I would buy it again.
