The timer is a stupid idea, adds value and has no real value
I think this is a good french press, but who does it need a timer to charge? This is a really stupid trick. He has a special cord (ie non-standard) that will most likely get lost anyway. So what's the point? Either buy a cheaper device or a better one. I mean if you don't have a timer on your stovetop or can't check your clock or phone. Where is the world headed? I have never used a timer and consider it one of my lightest purchases. Save money, it's stupid.
- Hint. The stainless steel layer is detachable, you can squeeze the stainless steel handle firmly when it's loose, or hold the french press lid while pouring when the carafe fell out
