Review on Leviton DSF01 10Z Decora Rocker Control by Tutcht Cobb

Please note the age of the item received. I've installed a few of these in my house with no problems. However, the subsequent purchase was a nightmare. The installation was the same as for a normal switch: no problem (note that it must be connected to neutral). Application connection problem. First batch, no complaints. This newer batch is NOT COMPATIBLE. By that I mean they don't communicate with my devices (Pixel 4, Samsung 7, Samsung 4, Tab 2). Leviton informed me that there is a firmware issue preventing communication with my devices. (I've tried two older Apple products, but the app isn't compatible with them.) I've been going back and forth with their tech support for weeks. It's been two weeks since they asked for my shipping address (the second time - the first one still shows up in the email thread) and nothing. They didn't say if a replacement was sent and I didn't receive a replacement. Also after a follow up email I sent 10 calendar days after requesting the address. For a first batch they are fine. The newer ones can be used normally but are useless for remote use, which was my goal in purchasing these switches.
