I have to say that overall I like the device but it does have a few quirks. It definitely has a strong scent and takes essential oils to the next level for me. The device emits a slight humming noise, and since the base is made of ceramic, the glass makes a rattling noise when struck. I had to adjust the glass several times so that it didn't hit the base. Also, the device looks like a chemistry kit with an all-white exterior and a cup-shaped glass part. Not critical, but it definitely lacks the same elegance compared to the round wooden base Raindrop 2.0. I am currently having issues with oil leaking from my glass base. Customer service has been excellent so far. I will update this review as soon as I have permission to do so. In general, I like the unit very much. If I could do it again I would probably choose the Raindrop 2.0 device because it looks better, has a color changing LED and most likely works just as well as this device. UPDATE: Customer service was amazing! They sent me a new diffuser. The oil stops flowing and hits the ceramic floor, causing it to rattle. Really don't push the glass all the way down so it sits squarely on top of the ceramic and probably doesn't rattle at all, so maybe that's partly my fault. All issues have been resolved.
