This order contains 16 anti-slip mat grips. They are incredibly easy to use. Before you begin, make sure the floor is clean around the corners of the rug. Two handles are needed for each corner of the rug. The white side attaches to the carpet and the transparent side attaches to the floor. The longer side of each handle goes to the outer edge of the rug. Peel the white paper backing from the handle showing the adhesive and press the handle firmly against one side of the rug corner. Do the same with the second handle. Repeat for the other three corners. The clean side of the handle is actually labeled "on the bottom" again and again in case you forget which side is which. After all the white sides of the handles are attached to the corners, place the rug where you want it. Lift one corner of the rug at a time, remove the clear backing from each handle at that corner, and then press the corner firmly to the floor. Repeat for the other three corners. That's all. super easy. It took longer to write these instructions than using pens. In my case, I fixed the rug to the hardwood floor in front of the kitchen sink. I only made one corner as this is a 24" x 40" rug and a firmly attached corner is enough to keep the entire rug from shifting. Using the same logic, I still have enough handles left to make 7 more small rugs, for example in front of the doors.
