Breaks easily!: Bicycle mirror

I am sad to write such a negative review for this product, but we were really disappointed. We have had three of these over the years, two of which were recently purchased. My wife and I have new e-bikes and wanted to add two sets of handlebar mirrors to each bike. First, we mounted a bicycle mirror on the end of the handlebars (different brand) for each bicycle. After a few weeks we decided to add a second set. As we had a Mirrycle a few years ago we went with these mirrors which is why we have a bar end mirror on both the left and right side of our bikes. Two weeks later, cracks appeared on the frames of both mirrors. As with regular cycling, we did end up touching the side of the car or the bar from time to time - note we've been riding quality bikes for decades. The problem with these mirrycles is that long posts, which initially seem like an attractive feature - since you can get a wider and taller view - turned out to be a big problem. Longer struts act like longer levers and apply more force to metal embedded in plastic (never a good combination). This situation leads to an increased probability of hacking, which happened to us. Please note that we do NOT have this problem with other mirrors (other brands) that we have installed and of course they work under the same driving conditions as Mirrycles. After just a few weeks of use, Mirrycles are virtually useless. We need to find another pair of mirrors. Keep in mind!
