Review on 🕰️ IlLuv Morning Call 5: Wireless Charging Bedside Clock, Dual Alarm, FM Radio, USB Port & More by Candy Malone

This is a cute little clock radio and I love the fact that I can charge my smartphone on the device. I have 2 suggestions that I think will improve it. First, setting the time, date, and year was a little confusing even when trying to follow the instructions. I finally had a friend, a computer genius, figure it out for me. I don't think it's necessary to enter the year and date as I don't think people typically use clock radios to show the date (the date isn't shown on the front of the unit so you have to press a button to setting the date). Take it). With that, it would be easy to set the hours and minutes like most other units. Secondly, why not integrate SmartSet technology into the device so that the clock is automatically reset when the power is switched off and on again. This would eliminate the need for batteries. I have a watch/radio with this technology that I paid less than $20 for. It also automatically switches to Daylight Saving Time and back to Eastern Standard Time. I don't know if this creates a new block, but it might be the reason the date needs to be set. The only reason I bought this device was because I wanted to add a phone charger, which by the way works really well. It's a great little device but would be perfect with a little tweaking. UPDATE from my original review. I still love this radio, but like I said in my original review, setting the time is very fiddly even when trying to follow the instructions. I had to call the company when we switched to daylight saving time to help me set the time. I was told someone would call me back but no one ever called back. I just kept pressing the buttons and finally set the clock. I didn't bother setting the date.
