The bar stool looks good. It fits nicely under the 41 inch baseboard in our kitchen. The low back provides enough support to keep you comfortable. You can lean back on it for support. But the seat itself is a bit narrower than I expected. It would be nice if this seat was just about an inch wider. This and the metal frame under the shoulder straps make the edge of the seat pretty stiff. For that one star. If you have a bony or wide butt, this may not be the stool for you. For small children, the top stroke is a bit short. But for adults that's fine. The most annoying problem, however, isn't with the stool itself. It's out of the box. It is packed in styrofoam sheets, all of which are broken. This causes all sorts of styrofoam to fly around and stick to everything. on the foam should be named their shabby product. No doubt the typically Chinese "quality fade” at work there. Another star for that. However, it's damn hard to find a stool with all the points I wanted. It has a round base, a brown brushed stainless steel seat that is adjustable to fit under our counters but not too low. If it had been packaged better and the seat had been a bit wider/higher I would have given it 5 stars.
