Review on 💾 ORICO 5 Bay USB 3.0 to SATA Chia Hard Drive Enclosure | 80TB (5 x 16TB) | RAID Support-9558RU3 by Timothy Gonzalez

I bought this to combine multiple external drives in one case. First thing I noticed is that the mechanism for installing drives seems a little flimsy and it's hard to tell if they're fully installed. After installing all 4 hard drives, everything worked fine until I restarted the computer on the second day. One of my drives was not showing up properly in File Explorer and I was prompted to format it. I used a recovery tool called TestDisk to try and recover my data, but after restarting the computer again, the drive was completely gone and Windows couldn't see it. I couldn't recover my data because the drive is now completely locked. It may have been a defective case but I didn't want to try again so I returned this product and bought another one. For this reason I would not recommend it at all. Edit: This was a 5 bay model, they seem to have bundled different products.
