"Factree " is almost perfect for my Universal Metal Industry fan.
This guy did it. Shaft 1/4 inch too long. I drilled a 5/16" clearance hole between the mounting bolt holes on the mounting bracket to allow free rotation and lower the case somewhere between the scooch and scoach. I get dived! It's quieter than the government on Epstein. I celebrated with a round of applause and crossed it off my "I don't want that" list.
