I didn't even install them. Send back. They don't have rubber or anything over the LEDs like most strip lights. This protects the LEDs. Even if you connect three strips into one continuous strip, the 2nd and 3rd sets are not as bright as the first. This isn't a problem if it's plugged into any of the three starting points on the power cord, for example if you want 32.5 feet coming in 3 different directions from the same starting point. I want about 70 feet continuously, but when you do that, the 2nd and 3rd sets are very dark and not nearly as bright as the 1st set. I wouldn't pay full price. EDIT: This company keeps sending me emails from various emails asking me to change my review and they "compensate me". Which is not allowed, even if I wanted to. I asked them to stop several times before they finally stopped, at least for now.
