I usually love tūl pens, so I’m surprised at this one. I wanted one that could be refilled and use less plastic (and be slightly more sustainable).Well, I can’t open it to switch out the cartridges.And it writes terribly. Maybe I should’ve purchased the medium rather than the fine point to alleviate the skipping and ink drying out issues? Midway through a word it starts to skip and ink stops coming out - to where I have to rewrite and rewrite and it becomes illegible and I give up and switch to another pen or pencil.At first I thought it was my paper (action method dot grid pads) but I tried it on postits and other paper types - same issue.I missed the return window, so I’m going to try to crack it open to get to the cartridge, but I don’t think it’s worth $15 if it doesn’t write.Very sad 😢 longtime tūl pen user here.
