Review on 📷 ULIBERMAGNET 60lb Magnetic Tripod Head Base: Dual Pack for Action & Security Cameras by Bill Russett

The photo, title and most of the text says this magnet has a 1/4-20 threaded insert but as me decided to attach it to the lantern, my 1/4-20 screws didn't fit. If you read further in the product description, there is a listing that says the 'female hole' is actually M8. It's nice of them to hide it at the end of the text. Luckily I have a supply of metric screws and my application will work so I can use them without going to the hardware store or drilling new holes. The magnets themselves are tenacious to the touch, and interestingly they have somehow shaped the field so that there is a strong field on one side and almost no field on the other. Smart. So definitely four or five stars for the magnets but only one for the misdescription.
