There is nothing special about this lid. I always buy a case for my computers just for a little protection from my dog's claws or accidental spills. I never expected them to do all this. This is the first time I've been so disappointed. Above "normal", but below does not last. It appears to turn on, but then drops off for no apparent reason. I've tried to force him to stay, but there's no way I can protect him. No "click" instead of nothing. I would just throw it away, but $30 is too much to throw away. To return. I do NOT recommend. I will go ahead and order from another company. Much luck.
