This unit is easy to connect to the source and records video quite well. Video and audio are streamed seamlessly to the streaming/encoding computer via the Windows HDMI output. I'm having trouble trying to use multiple USB webcams (Logitech). When a recording device is connected, OBS disables the video feed from the cameras. The windows cam software test shows that they work. The workaround is to remove all USB video devices and add cameras one by one and configure them in the OBS recorder. Once all required cameras are set up and working, add the HDMI capture device LAST. The video stream was good and streamed without any problems.
