So you're trying to decide which air intake to buy OR to buy at all. I was the same. Specter is owned by K&N. That speaks volumes! The price is acceptable. There are certain performance details that require high costs. This should not be the case with hoses, clamps and a filter in the main. This is a great kit. Installed on my 2012 Ford F-150 5.0. Nice performance increase. The sound is amazing. It didn't give out any check engine codes. Plant engineers are held back by three things: cost, tranquility, and efficiency. Performance people don't care about all three. This is a good update. You won't be disappointed with Specter.
