I use this stand to store my personal and work laptops on my desk. Pros: The stand is very durable. It's made of heavy metal, well made, and easily holds two laptops. Cons: First, the adjustment screws are on the bottom of the stand, so getting the right size for your machine is very difficult. However, you only have to do this. The big problem is that the stand doesn't have enough padding and the stand risks scratching your laptop. The padding at the bottom of the laptop compartment is large enough to cover the entire bottom at its narrowest point. If you need to expand it at all, lean your laptop on bare metal. You can see this gap in the picture. The side grommets of the slot also end about a quarter inch from the top, exposing a sharp edge. If you move the laptop even a little while setting it up, or you didn't get the width right on the first try, the case will get scratched. This has happened to me before. If you have very slim laptops and rarely move them, this might work. Otherwise I don't recommend it.
