Really almost there.

There's a lot to like about this keyboard. It's smooth and quiet. The build quality is comparable to a keyboard in this price range. The wrist is comfortable and there is practically no fatigue. The optical switches are great for gaming, and while they don't click, actuation point adjustment is smooth with no phantom motion. The distance seems a little less than Corsair, but not by much. The media keys are great and the wheel is nice and flat on the side. The size is comparable to the K70 and fits my tablet without any problems. A few things to know before you buy. 1) No pass-through USB/media. It only occupies one USB slot on your computer, but if you've used it before, this keyboard won't have it. 2) I wish the multimedia wheel had more. It works great for volume and mute, but setting up everything else takes some work, and there's not much out there that really makes it more. 3) And that's a big OKR. The magnetic palm rest is not physically attached to the keyboard. So when you move the keyboard you have to move your wrist, and even if you don't there is no left/right stabilization. 4) If you don't change the color of the keycaps, the pudding/phantom keycaps around the key won't light up. The LED is located at the top of the optical switch. All in all, this is an amazing keyboard. For the price you really compare it to the K100. It doesn't have the frills, at least outside of the software, but the linking process is smoother at a smaller size.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • very expensive
