Description of 🎮 Razer Huntsman V2 Optical Gaming Keyboard: 2nd Gen Fast Linear Optical Switches with Sound Dampeners, 8000Hz Polling Rate, Doubleshot PBT Keycaps, Dedicated Media Keys & Dial, with Ergonomic Wrist Rest

Razer Linear Optical Switches Gen-2: Improved with sound dampeners for an even quieter typing experience, the smooth, consistent switches are now also more responsive with up to true 8000Hz polling rate for lower input latency. Doubleshot PBT Keycaps: Harder and more durable than regular keycaps, these won’t wear down to a shiny finish and have labels which will never fade thanks to their doubleshot molding process. Multi-function Digital Dial and 4 Media Keys: Configure them to pause, play, skip and tweak everything from brightness to volume—the ultimate convenience for enjoying your entertainment. Ergonomic Wrist Rest: The sturdy wrist support perfectly aligns to the keyboard to relieve pressure on your wrists and feel less fatigued when gaming over long periods. Hybrid On-board Memory and Cloud Storage: Be match-ready regardless of the situation when you can save and activate up to 5 on-board memory profiles, while building a library of macros and settings to call upon with cloud storage. Sound Dampening Foam: Added for improved acoustics, the keyboard has a layer of special foam inside its casing which absorbs any pinging noises that might occur when the keys are bottomed out.

Waste of Money: Gaming Keyboards

Simply put, this keyboard has a serious design flaw. Don't buy this if you expect a sturdy design. I've had the keyboard for 3 months now. The downside is that a keypress can get stuck on repeat, making it impossible to play games or edit spreadsheets for work. Based on my online investigations, this looks like a USB polling issue. Regardless, the keyboard can't be a keyboard, which is bullshit considering it costs $249. It looks like Razer released a hasty design with a known bug. If they…

Really almost there.

There's a lot to like about this keyboard. It's smooth and quiet. The build quality is comparable to a keyboard in this price range. The wrist is comfortable and there is practically no fatigue. The optical switches are great for gaming, and while they don't click, actuation point adjustment is smooth with no phantom motion. The distance seems a little less than Corsair, but not by much. The media keys are great and the wheel is nice and flat on the side. The size is comparable to the K70 and…

Luxurious Keyboard, Serious Issues

The Razer Huntsman Elite V2 Analog is a luxury item. Analog key functions, customizable and interactive backlighting, and multifunctional keystrokes justify the cost. It's a pleasure to type on, the palm rest is very comfortable, and the construction feels durable. Synapse, the keyboard programming and customization software, requires a small learning curve but is generally intuitive. Unfortunately, as you see in other reviews, these devices have some fatal flaws. First, the keyboard is often…

Too expensive for questions. Analog is too early to invest in keyboard

keyboard for about 2 weeks. I wanted to jump on it instead of the standard mechanical train. Here's what I experienced; Pros: It feels premium. Doesn't look, it feels. - The activation pressure was higher than I expected. Can be pro or com depending on your preference. - Media control buttons. It's almost necessary for me. - The palm rest is pretty damn comfortable. Cons - Analog is not very good and almost positive, it causes problems even if you don't use the joystick mode - Sometimes I move…

This is an overview of the analog keyswitch version of the keyboard.

I bought a Switch analog keyboard to replace my clicky version of the same keyboard as I've been waiting for a Razer Switch analog keyboard for a long time. Unfortunately, the game is full of bugs that need to be fixed. This is a relatively new keyboard, so I believe any bugs I'm reporting are in the process of being fixed. Overall, this is what we've come to expect from Razer. Quality for gamers, a bit overpriced for what it is but does the job. Advantages: analog switch! Being able to use my…

Although this keyboard is fake, it's pretty good. These switches are the biggest selling point for this board. They are amazing to type with and nothing comes close to them. The only thing that puts me off this keyboard is the price. His. only one keyboard. A $249 keyboard that's no better than a $100 keyboard or less. I just feel better. Now it's up to you to decide if it's worth your money. Personally, I'd rather upgrade other things like sound or monitors for my PC, which is what I've done…

Keyboard is cool - pretty much useless

I've been looking for something to replace my 6 year old Blackwidow X Chroma keyboard but haven't been able to find much in a long time. Most new keyboards on the market either had a really gritty "gaming" style or functionality that lacked polish. I saw an ad for this keyboard when it came out and was intrigued by the number of improvements Razer made over some of the other newer versions. The processing quality is very pleasant. I liked my previous BWXC for its military grade steel…

This is simply my favorite keyboard

The name speaks for itself. I own and have several mechanical keyboards and without a doubt this is my favorite. Clicks are satisfying and typing on this thing is buttery smooth. I know for a fact that I'm not using all the features of this keyboard, which means that gaming on this keyboard is great too. It's very solid and I love all the extra bells and whistles that come with this keyboard. My only regret is that this is an expensive keyboard and if I could I would replace all my other…
